Virender Kadyan Wins 1st Prize and is Invited to United Nations Headquarters

Virender Kadyan Assistant Professor-Research in CURIN was been invited to pitch in front of United Nations Development Programme members at UNDP Headquarters as well as at United Nations Headquarters in New York, USA with H.E. Mr Peter Thomson, President of the seventy-first session of the United Nations General Assembly, on May 16, 2017.
His project Magnetic Braille was awarded the first prize amongst entries from all over the world.
The UNDP members introduced the objective of its SDG goals. Then the presentation started by Influx trust members proceeded by winning teams of all nations respectively. All the team presented their ideas on their respective topics like Equality, Niskala and Paperless Erasable Magnetic Braille Slate. The UNDP members provided the feedback and suggestion to all the team. After that we have visited the UN Headquarters to meet UN nations active members and they displayed and showed the past projects of the UN along with their future goal. Then the UNDP team make our introduction to H.E. Mr. Peter Thomson, President of the seventy-first session of the United Nations General Assembly. In front of Mr Thomson, we have presented our idea and he has given his valuable input in our projects.
