The present disclosure relates generally to pharmaceutical formulations. More specifically, the disclosure is directed to a formulation for hepato-target based on phytosomes for delivery of phyto-constituents. The formulation comprises a phytosome of phyto-constituents and phospholipids, coupled to lactobionic acid and thereafter polymer-coated. Said formulation enhances the bioavailability of 10 the phyto-constituents in the liver cells for enhanced biosorption. The present disclosure also relates to methods of preparation of the formulation.
