Talk by "Dr. Charanjit Singh Bhatia"

Student Chapter of IEEE section, Chitkara University in collaboration with IEEE, Chandigarh section organised an Invited talk by Dr. Charanjit Singh Bhatia (Former Professor from National University of Singapore) on theme “Head Disk interface in hard disk drives : History and recent developments.”.
Prof. Shivani Malhotra, HoD (ECED) formally welcomed the guests by presenting them bouquets. Talk was kick started by a brief address by Prof. Neena Gupta, Chair, IEEE Chandigarh Section while discussing about various types of activities which are undertaken by IEEE across the globe.
Speaker of the day, Prof. Bhatia enlightened the gathering with his immense knowledge about the challenges and opportunities which Hard disks making industry has been facing over the years. He insisted upon need for a bigger role which India should be taking in establishing state of the art #Electronic manufacturing hubs.
