50 units of Swacch Neer – low cost filtration unit were prepared by Centre for Water Sciences , CURIN under the grant of New Gen IEDC. Water filtered from Swacch Neer was analyzed in house and outside NABL lab where physio chemical parameters tested were under acceptable limits of BIS. On 11th October, 2019 , these filtration units were distributed to willing persons from different categories of campus people like attendants, peons, gardeners, instructors, teachers, Dean etc. Some of the units are placed at central position for common use by campus people. Journey of Swacch Neer was presented by Prof(Dr) Jyotsna Kaushal where she demonstrated how to use and instructions for its maintenance . CURIN head and Pro Vice Chancellor Dr Archana Mantri congratulate the whole team and distributed units to willing persons.
