IIT Internship(Research scholar)

Nikhil Gupta, the student of B.E(CSE) 2nd year Chitkara University, Punjab was selected for Research Internship program at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati, Assam, under supervision of Dr. Priyanko Sarmah (Associate Professor). He gained his knowledge in Phonetics and Tonemes of Punjabi language with Tonal Analysis in Speech Recognition, from 10th to 26th Dec. 2017
Also he has participated in Winter school on ” Automatic Speech Recognition ” which held in IIT Guwahati, here he learned to process punjabi speech corpus in various toolkit such as HTK toolkit and Kaldi toolkit. from 19 to 23 Dec. 2017.
