IEEE CIET Student Branch organized SHE THE INCREDIBLE under WIE

IEEE CIET Student Branch organized SHE THE INCREDIBLE under WIE (affinity group of IEEE) an expert session for Women in Engineering on 20th September 2017. The event marked the beginning of a 3-day techno fest “Techies Day-Out”. We were honoured to have Dr. Archana Mantri ma’am as the speaker. She shared her real-life experiences’ with the students and motivated the girls to pursue research. She also emphasized on how to maintain work-life balance for future. As rightly said “if you teach a man, you educate one person, but if you teach a girl you educate a family”, girls are and will always be an integral part of this evolving society. We were glad to know about career options in research and current research projects in our University.
Participants surely took back a bag full of a plethora of knowledge.
