Mr. Gaurav Gupta, Director, MeitY delivered an expert talk on “Digital Forensic From Researchers Perspective” on 29th September 2017 in Chitkara University. Dr. Gupta has completed his Ph.D. on the topic “Study On Digital Forensic For Detection of Computer Frauds And Cyber Crimes” from Jadavpur University, Kolkata. He has more than 7 years of advisory and research experience in the field of Digital Forensic/IT Advisory. This expert talk was focused on cybersecurity awareness. The speaker shared his ideas on how to guard yourself against online frauds. He awakes audience about phishing, email-spoofing, brute force attack and many more recent cyber issues. He also discussed real case studies associated with cyber issues. The most interesting part of the talk was sharing tips and tricks used in digital forensic in case of crimes.
