Eighth ISSS International Conference on Smart Materials, Structures & Systems (ISSS-2017

Dr Pankaj Kumar (Professor and Associate Dean) and Vandna Sharma, from Liquid Crystal Nano Physics Research Laboratory, CURIN, have participated and presented their researchwork in the Eighth ISSS International Conference on Smart Materials, Structures & Systems(ISSS-2017). The conference was jointly organized by ISSS, IISc and IIT Delhi, on July 5-7,2017 at J N Tata Auditorium, IISc Bangalore. There were several plenary and invited talks on contemporary areas of micro and smart systems technologies from leading experts from around the world. In addition, several oral and poster sessions were held on smart materials, MEMS devices and Microsystems, sensors and actuators, modelling and simulation etc. The conference was a good forum for academicians, researchers and technologists to assess the current status of these technologies and to steer them towards a more effective utilization.
