Dr. Sachin Ahuja conducted a sensitization seminar on Intellectual Property Rights for MCA & BCA students on 24th October 2018. The focus of the seminar was to introduce the concept of patenting to the students and create awareness about working of Chitkara University IPR cell. The main focus of the session was to promote the innovation culture at Chitkara University and let students know about the benefits of filing patents and Chitkara University Easy Patent Policy. Around 100 students participated in the seminar and got the answer to the queries related to Patent filing and Commercialization. The students were motivated and discussed a few ideas to be taken to the next level of filing a patent. Similiar session has been conducted for Students of IHM at CUHP on 17th October 2018 and CCAE and CSE at CUPB on 19th October 2018 and 26th October 2018 respectively.
