The newly built Centre for Liquid Crystal Research, headed by Dr Pankaj Kumar, at Babbage Block 5th floor was inaugurated by Dr Madhu Chitkara, Vice Chancellor Chitkara University Punjab. The centre will host many researchers and scholars from medicinal chemistry, nano sciences, liquid crystal research areas. This centre has a couple of funded projects from DST SERB and the second state-of-art research lab after Life Sciences Research lab. Dr Chitkara after inauguration visited the centre and Dr Pankaj Kumar explained various facilities there. Later, she also visited Centre for Life Sciences and took keen interest in the research projects going on there.
