DNN Based Automatic Speech Recognition Workshop

Four-day DNN Based Automatic Speech Recognition Workshop organized by CURIN in collaboration with MRSPTU Bathinda from 24 Sept to 27 Sept 2017. The talk was delivered by Dr Syed, Assistant Professor, NIT Patna. He had gained expertise in Child speech recognition. The day 1 starts with a session on understanding the basic concept of Speech Signal processing using MATLAB toolkit. Day2-Day4 covers hands-on session of DNN in building an acoustic model for a small ASR engine. Students took an active part in exploring DNN and showcased their skills in implementing it using Kaldi toolkit.
