Mr. Rajinder Sandhu has visited the Cloud Computing and Distributed Systems (CLOUDS) Laboratory, School of Computing and Information Systems at the University of Melbourne, Australia during the period from Jan 2017 to July 2017 as a Research Fellow (Visiting Academic). He worked with Prof. Rajkumar Buyya and his lab members. Rajinder Sandhu has carried out Research and Development (R&D) in resource management and scheduling of Big Data applications in geographically distributed Cloud computing environments for the creation of hybrid Clouds using Melbourne private Cloud and Microsoft Azure public Clouds. He has actively collaborated with many researchers in CLOUDS Lab and other international visitors from Europe to the University. Mr Rajinder Sandhu work has resulted in co-authoring a couple of papers focused on Cloud scheduling and efficient representation of data for rapid analysis on Clouds.
