Prof. (Dr.) Sheifali Gupta is a Professor in the Chitkara University Research and Innovation Network (CURIN) at Chitkara University, Punjab Campus-India. She specializes in the area of Digital Image Processing, Pattern Recognition, Machine Intelligence, Biomedical image Processing, Agriculture based image processing and deep learning. She has published more than 60 research papers and articles in reputed National & International journals and conferences.

She has filed 15 patents in the field of Image processing and Mechatronics. She has conducted different workshops based on Modelling Real-Time Video Processing System in Simulink using the Video & Image Processing blockset. She has received a prestigious IRDP Award 2018 for remarkable achievements in Teaching, Research and Publications. Presently she is working on an agriculture based project in collaboration with Dr. Y S Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry Nauni, Solan. She is presently guiding Post graduate and Doctoral students.
