Dr. Seema Singh is currently working as Associate Professor in Centre of Research Impact and Outcome (CRIO) of Chitkara University, Rajpura (Punjab). She received her PhD degree in the field of ‘Electrochemical treatment of persistent pollutants from wastewater’ from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, Roorkee, Uttarakhand in 2014. She completed her M.Tech. (Advanced Chemical Analysis) from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, Uttarakhand in 2009. Her major area of focus is application oriented related to remediation, nanocomposites, energy, functional materials, polymers, as well as all aspects of sustainable fields. Application aspects range water purification, resource recovery, and renewable energy storage.

She is having more than 14 years of teaching and research experience at various national and international organizations of QS world university ranking. Some of her other past significant appointments include being an Assistant Professor in Uttaranchal University Dehradun, Uttarakhand (2021-2024) and a Visiting Research Fellow in Graduate Institute of Environmental Engineering (GIEE) at National Taiwan University in Taiwan. She did her post-doctoral study in Electrochemical Advanced Oxidation Processes (EAOPs) at the GIEE, National Taiwan University in Taiwan (2015-2020) and Senior Research Fellow, Department of Chemical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee (2014-1015).

She has published over 50 SCI research articles in various reputed journals, including book chapters and books. She has submitted two books on different schemes of water treatment technologies with Springer and CRC press. She is presently an Editor of Elsevier book entitled “Bismuth: Fabrication, Properties and Application”. She is serving as a reviewer for various journals of different publishers. She is serving as reviewer editor in Electrochemical Environmental Engineering, Frontier in Environmental Engineering.
