Dr Rajesh Kumar Kaushal is a PhD in computer science and engineering with 15 years of experience in teaching. He completed his PhD from Chitkara University, Punjab State, INDIA. He joined Chitkara University in the year 2007 and since then he has been serving it with his teaching and innovation skills. He also got the opportunity to work as a research fellow on DST (Department of Science & Technology, Government of India) funded project named “Closed Loop Anesthesia Delivery System” at PGIMER (Post graduation Institution of Medical Education and Research), Chandigarh, INDIA. Presently, he is appointed as an Associate Professor in the department of computer applications. He is actively engaged in research activities.

He has filed 6 patents and one of them has also been published in WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization). He is also working as a Project Manager in the funded project named “Smart and Portable Intensive Care Unit” funded by Millennium Alliance (FICCI, USAID, UKAID, Facebook, World bank and TDB DST). He is also working as a Co-Principal Investigator in another funded project named “Remote Vital Information and Surveillance System for Elderly and Disabled Persons” funded by TIDE (Technology Intervention of Disabled and Elderly) scheme of Ministry of Science & Technology, Govt. of India.

He is also a visiting professor of Kasetsart University, Sakon Nakhon, Thailand. He is also a reviewer of the journal named “Technology, Knowledge & Learning”. He got teacher excellence award twice, once in the year 2017 and another in 2019 by Chitkara University, Punjab, India. In the year 2017, he got teacher excellence award under the category named “Most Enterprising” and in the year 2019 the award was given under the category “Most Enterprising & Emerging Leader”.
