Dr. Khosla has over 36 years of experience in Research & Development in the domains of Defence & IT. Having been a part of the historic National Level Project as a Scientist under Dr Abdul Kalam, he subsequently made extensive contributions in the Missile Development Programs during his prolific tenure at the DRDO, which were duly recognised by the Government of India on several occasions

Dr. Khosla led a team for development of a Telemedicine solution which was of considerable impact during the pandemic. Having been adopted by 35 states in India, more than 4 crore patients have availed this solution, with daily tele-consultations touching 2 Lakhs. The work got due recognition when he received Digital India Award from Hon’ble President of India.

In the critical sphere of Cybersecurity, Dr. Khosla spearheaded multiple high value Cyber Security projects for the National Threat Hunting and Response System and he was also the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of all the 12 C-DAC centres (C-DAC is a premier R&D organisation of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology).

While heading C-DAC, he was an avid proponent of Artificial Intelligence and allied fields, under Dr. Khosla’s leadership an AI powered medical diagnostic device for detection of Pneumonia in infants and another solution for detection of Chronic Eye Diseases using Image processing were successfully developed.
He was also the Chief Investigator in a project where he developed Stream Data Analytics Framework using IoT/Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) in Precision Farming.

He has guided and mentored several B Tech, M Tech and PhD students as well as published numerous papers in National and International Journals.
