Dr Pankaj Kumar is PhD in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics with 15 years of experience in R&D as well as academics. He has worked as Post Doctoral Fellow at Department of Bio-Information-Nano Fusion Technology, CBNU, South Korea. His recent research mainly focuses on Self Assembly, Surface Morphology, Nano Materials (NMs), NMs doped Liquid Crystal (LC), Polymer Dispersed LC Composites, Polymer Stabilized LC and Cholesteric LC for Information Display Technology.

He has published and presented a variety of research papers in different international journals and conference proceedings. A part of his research work was presented in various international conferences like ACLC, Japan; SID USA; IMID & KLCC South Korea; ECLC, Slovenia; IMRE Singapore, and ILCC, Kent USA. He received several best papers and outstanding presentation awards including Dewan Jawahar Lal Nayar Memorial Prize-2015 by Indian Liquid Crystal Society. Dr Kumar was also awarded the International Merck Grand Award-2011 (Germany) for the best research of the year in the field of LCD Technology. Currently, he is supervising several PhD scholars with one DST INSPIRE fellow in the areas of Liquid Crystal Technologies and Nanophysics. He is associate editor of the national journal “JNPMSRA” published by Chitkara University. Dr Kumar is reviewer of several SCI journals like ‘Materials & Design’, ‘Advances in Polymer Technology’, ‘Colloids and Surfaces A: Physicochemical and Engineering Aspects’, ‘Journal of alloys and compounds’, ‘Journal of Thermal Analysis and Calorimatory’, ‘Energy’, ‘Ceramics International’ and ‘Journal of Condensed Matter Physics’. Dr Kumar is extremely passionate and likes to spend time in farming.
