Dr. Leema Nelson completed B.E in Electronics and Communication Engineering from National College of Engineering, Tirunelveli affiliated to Anna University Chennai in 2008, M.E. in Computer Science and Engineering with specialization in Knowledge Engineering from College of Engineering Guindy (CEG), Anna University, Chennai in 2010 and Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering with specialization in Machine Learning from CEG, Anna University, Chennai in 2018.

She has received “College First Rank” award during her graduate studies. She has four years of teaching experience at various engineering colleges and seven years of research experience at CEG. She has successfully completed one Ph.D. student from NIT Meghalaya. Her research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Soft Computing, Pattern Recognition and Clinical Data mining.
