Dr. Garima Chopra received the B. Tech. degree in electronics and communication from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, India, in 2013, and the M. Tech. degree in communication and information technology (CIT) with the Electronics and Communication Department, National Institute of Technology, Srinagar, India, in 2016. She completed her Ph.D. degree in electronics and communication engineering with Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University with thesis title, “Development of Algorithm to Overcome Security threats in 5G wireless communication for ultra-dense network”. Her research interest includes the physical layer security in emerging technologies of 5G wireless communication networks, power optimized networks for 5G and beyond, and multiple access techniques for future generation of wireless communication. She is currently doing the research work on multiple access techniques in fifth generation wireless communication. She has numerous publications in SCI-indexed journals with impact factor of more than 5 and reputed conferences of IEEE, springer, etc.
