Deepam Goyal received B.E. (Hons.), M.E. with Gold Medal, and PhD degrees in mechanical engineering from Panjab University, Chandigarh, India. He is currently working as Assistant Professor with the Chitkara University, Punjab, India.

He was an Inspire Fellow of Department of Science and Technology, India during his doctoral program. His fields of interest include machine design, rotor dynamics and diagnostics, machine learning, sensors, optimization and manufacturing technology.

He has authored or co-authored one book and over 50 papers in different international journals, conferences, and 6 book chapters. He also has a patent and a copyright to his credit.
