The present invention generally relates to a pharmaceutical composition of Non-SteroidalAnti-Inflammatory Drug (NSAID) suitable for topical delivery of drugs. Specifically, thepresent invention discloses an improved transdermal pharmaceutical composition comprisingof therapeutically effective amount of diclofenac or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereofand bio-enhancer, piperine or a metabolite, structural analogue or isomer thereof, preparationof the improved transdermal pharmaceutical composition and its use in the treatment ofinflammation and related pain.
