The present disclosure relates to a speech enabled query based system5 comprising of a control unit configured to receive an audio signal pertaining tospeech; a processor operatively coupled with the control unit and with a memorystoring instructions executable by the processor to: extract, from the receivedaudio signal, first attributes of the audio signal indicative of speech patterns andsecond attributes indicative of a language of the speech; determine, a language10 of the speech query and thereby further determine response in said languagebased on the speech query.
