Present disclosure provides for a system and a method for acquiring, storing,processing and monitoring vaccine and vaccination dates. The methodameliorates the need for alert messages and reminders to direct end users toadminister the vaccine in the stipulated time. The alert signal can be a sound, avisual or a vibration signal and the reminders can be in the form of SMS or10 emails. The invention further `employs a method to send repetitive reminders fora certain period so that there is an extremely low probability that the vaccinationwill be missed on the scheduled date.
