The present disclosure relates to a system (100) for predicting retinopathy in an eye of a subject,the system comprising: an information input unit (110) adapted to receive data packets pertainingto one or more health attributes of the subject; a processor (112) operatively coupled with amemory (116), said memory storing instructions executable by the processor to: receive, thedata packets of one or more health attributes of the subject; analyse, the received data packets toextract a set of parameters; categorize, the extracted set of parameters; extract, from thecategorized set of parameters, a set of values, wherein, based on the determination of thecategorized parameters and a deviation of the extracted set of values for the categorized set ofparameters from a reference set of values, the processor is configured to predict a diagnosis forthe eye of the subject.
