The present disclosure provides a system and method for detection of presence of weed in a person using retinal imaging. The system includes an image acquisition unit 100 to capture a retinal image of a person and, a computing unit 110 to receive the retinal image, extract one or more retinal attributes from the received retinal image, generate an electronic signature and
compare the generated electronic signature with pre-existing electronic signatures associated with the set of retinal images of weed consumed persons. The system uses the deep learning model 118 to detect presence of weed.
