The present disclosure relates to a system (100) for authentication of user session,5 the system includes an information input unit (102) adapted to receive one ormore images from user to authenticate user session. A processor (104) operativelycoupled with a memory (106), said memory storing instructions executable by theprocessor to: receive, from the information input unit, the one or more images,analyse, the received one or more images to extract a set of values from the one or10 more images, and determine, the extracted set of values based on matching of theextracted set of values with a reference set of values, wherein, based on thematching of the extracted set of values of the one or more images from thereference set of values, the processor (104) is configured to authenticate access tothe user session.
