The present disclosure relates to an apparatus (100) for assisting physically5 impaired user, the apparatus includes a microcontroller (116) operatively coupledto a first sensor (106) and a second sensor (108). The microcontroller configured toreceive, from the first sensor, the first set of signals pertaining to physical pressureattributes of the user. The microcontroller receives, from the second sensor (108),second set of signals pertaining to odor attributes, wherein, on receipt of the first10 set of signals, the microcontroller configured to operate the valve to allow passageof the liquid from the tank unit, and wherein, on receipt of the second set of signals,the microcontroller configured to operate the sprayer to spray a predeterminedamount of fragrance to deodorize the sanitary area.
