The present disclosure is directed to a process of preparing three-dimensionalcarbon from waste materials. Specifically, the disclosure is directed to the processof preparing calcium-deposited three-dimensional carbon for energy storage fromeggshells and waste paper. The calcium-deposited three-dimensional carbon10 possesses high capacitance performance and displays improved cyclic stabilitycompared to known calcium ion storage systems.
