The present disclosure relates generally to orodispersible tablets of metformin.More specifically, the disclosure is directed to an orodispersible tablet formulationcomprising metformin hydrochloride and Cajanus cajan starch as a super-disintegrant. The disclosure further provides a process of preparing theformulation. The orodispersible tablet formulation has low in vitro disintegration10 time, high water absorption ratio and low wetting time.
