The present invention provides an insect-repellent herbal candle composition comprising 4% to5 8% by weight plant part of Azadirachta indica, 2% to 6% by weight plant part of Cinnamomumcamphora, 1% to 5% by weight plant part of Syzygium aromaticum, 1% to 4% by weight plantpart of Tinospora cordifolia, 1% to 4% by weight plant part of Momordica charantia, 1% to 4%by weight plant part of Elletaria cardamomum, and 0.1% to 2% by weight plant part ofCinnamomum verum in a candle base of 70% to 90% by weight. The candles exhibit excellent10 air purifying and insect repellent activities whilst being non-toxic, eco-friendly and suitable foruse in meditation practices. The present invention also provides a process for preparing theinsect-repellent herbal candle composition and a candle thereof.
