The present disclosure pertains to a system (100) for detecting mask on face of anentity, and detecting body temperature of the entity to enable the entity to enter inan area. The system (100) can include a first set of sensors (102) for sensingentities in a first pre-defined area and actuating an image sensor (104) to captureimages of the entities. The system (100) can include a controller (112) for10 extracting and comparing facial attributes from the received images to check maskon the faces, and upon detection of the mask actuating a second set of sensors todetect temperature of the entities, and upon detecting the temperature value in pre-defined limit actuates one or motors (108) to unlock an entrance that facilitate inenabling the entities to enter in the area, also notifying the entities when mask is15 not found or temperature is beyond the pre-defined limit.
