The present disclosure pertains to a disinfecting and cooling device 100 for edibles. The device100 includes one or more compartments 102 adapted to accommodate one or more edibles,where the one or more compartments 102 configured to be at least partially filled with a firstfluid. The device 100 includes a vibration generator 104 coupled with the one or morecompartments 102, and configured to generate a first set of signals, and where the first set ofsignals pertain to vibrations in the first fluid of one of the one or more compartments 102 tofacilitate disinfection of the one or more edibles. The device 100 includes one or more coolingsheaths 106 at least partially filled with a second fluid, and configured around one of the one ormore compartments 102 to facilitate cooling of the edibles.
