The present disclosure relates to a battery assembly (100) configured to indicate low level of aliquid in the battery assembly, said battery assembly comprising: a lid (102) provided at the topportion of the battery case and adapted to cover the hole; a cable (104) coupled to the lid suchthat when the lid covers the hole, a predefined length of the cable is inserted into the hollowspace; and an alarm circuit (200) comprising an alarm (204) and a power source (208) to supplypower to the alarm, wherein, when the liquid in the hollow space reduces to a point where it isnot in contact with at least a portion of the cable, power from the power source is supplied to thealarm to enable to alarm to activate and indicate a requirement for adding liquid to the hollowspace of the battery assembly.
