The present disclosure pertains to an assembly (100) to open and close a rolling5 door. The assembly (100) comprises a gearbox (102), a long member (104)rotatably configured with the gearbox (102). The long member (104) rotates inany of first direction and second direction upon moving a detachable handleattached to the gearbox (102), and consequently, the rolling door moves up anddown. The assembly (100) includes an electric motor (118) which rotates the long10 member (104) automatically with an arrangement of a first gear (110) and thesecond gear (112). The electric motor (118) is controlled with any of an actuationunit (202) and a remote control. The assembly (100) facilitates in opening andclosing the rolling door automatically, and in case of any of the power failure andbreakdown of the motor, the rolling door is operated manually with the handle.
