The present disclosure pertains to a smart container assembly (100) to storeconsumable goods. The assembly (100) can include a primary container (102), anda set of secondary containers (202), where the primary container (102) and each ofthe secondary containers (202) coupled with each other. The primary container(102) includes a first set of sensors and each of the secondary container (202)10 includes a second set of sensors for monitoring one or more attributes of theconsumable goods stored therein. A controller (120) configured for displaying theone or more attributes of the consumable goods in the primary containers (102) andeach of the secondary containers (202) on a display unit (1114), and associated oneor more mobile computing devices. The assembly (100) facilitates in alerting the15 user to purchase the consumable goods which is about to finish, when the user isnear to one or more registered vendors.
