The present disclosure relates to an apparatus (100) for providing uninterruptedsupply of power, the apparatus includes a lighting device that includes primarycircuits (102) and secondary circuits (104) adapted to generate power, a sensor(106) adapted to detect set of signals pertaining to intensity of the light. Acontroller (108) operatively coupled to a relay (110) and the sensors, the controller10 configured to receive, from the sensors, the set of signals pertaining to intensity ofthe light, and analyse, the set of signals to extract a set of value of the set ofsignals, wherein, when the extracted value of set of signals is lower than athreshold value, the controller is configured to operate the relay to switch from theprimary circuits to the secondary circuits, to facilitate uninterrupted power to the15 lighting device.
