The present disclosure provides a disinfection system 100, device 300 and method 200 forcontrolling dehumidification of air. The system 100 includes: dehumidifying unit 108;humidity sensing unit 110 to sense humidity level present in air of a cabinet, and generatefirst data based on the sensed humidity level; and control unit 106. The control unit 106configured to: compare the generated first data with predefined first data corresponding to apredefined humidity level of the cabinet; dehumidify, using the dehumidifying unit 108, theair of the cabinet when the sensed humidity level is greater than the predefined humiditylevel; and spray, using a spraying unit 112 operatively coupled to the control unit 106, aliquid into the air of the cabinet when the sensed humidity level is greater than the predefinedhumidity level.
