Heating Ventilation and Air Condition (HVAC) Psychrometry lab was setup in 2018 at Chitkara University, Punjab. The aim of setting up this lab relies on 3 pillars: Research, Training and Education. This lab has been providing interdisciplinary and multipurpose environment for institution use, research related Heating, ventilation and Air conditioning in domestic and commercial buildings. The lab is equipped with Air Handling Unit (AHU), Split AC, Ductable AC and is integrated by Siemens Building Management System.
We have been training our students on HVAC field to catch up with the fast-changing industry. Our faculties along with Indian Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE) have been conducting FDP’s, workshops and training programs for students and AC technicians.
Objectives
- To create a productive and sustainable environment for students and researchers for maximizing the team`s potential.
- To contribute to scientific world through scientific publications.
- To provide industrial consultancy for HVAC solutions.
