Heating Ventilation and Air Condition (HVAC) Clean Room Lab was setup in 2018 at Chitkara University, Punjab. The aim of setting up this lab relies on 3 pillars: Research, Training and Education. This lab has been providing interdisciplinary and multipurpose environment for instructional use, research related HVAC design for clean room, pharmacy industry. The lab is Double Air Handling Unit (AHU). HEPA filters, humidity sensors, air velocity sensors and is integrated with Siemens BMS system.
We have been training our students on clean room design and certification to catch up with the fast-changing HVAC industry. Our research scholars and faculty have been working with pharmacy department research related work pieces for publication of their work.
Objectives
- To create a productive and sustainable environment for students and researchers for maximizing the team`s potential.
- To contribute to scientific world through scientific publications.
- To provide industrial consultancy for designing cleanroom.
