The present disclosure relates generally to pharmaceutical formulations. Morespecifically, the disclosure is directed to a formulation for hepato-target based onphytosomes for delivery of phyto-constituents. The formulation comprises aphytosome of phyto-constituents and phospholipids, coupled to lactobionic acidand thereafter polymer-coated. Said formulation enhances the bioavailability of10 the phyto-constituents in the liver cells for enhanced biosorption. The presentdisclosure also relates to methods of preparation of the formulation.
