The present disclosure relates generally to wrapping film compositions. Morespecifically, the disclosure is directed to an edible wrapping film compositioncomprising gelatin and a micro-organism- Lactobacillus plantarum. Thedisclosure further relates to a process of preparing the same. The compositionprovides a biodegradable alternative and eliminates the need for tissues, butter10 papers or plastic film wrappings.
