Dr. Neha Kishore is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Chitkara University and a member of CURIN (Chitkara University Research and Innovation Network). She is a PhD in Computer Science (2015) and her area of expertise include Parallel computing, Digital Forensics and Information Security. She is UGC NET and Gate 2013 qualified. She is also actively working as a Faculty Coordinator at Centre for Entrepreneurship and Education Development (CEED), Chitkara University, Himachal Pradesh to motivate, mentor the young aspiring/budding entrepreneurs and organize/manage all the activities of CEED in the campus. She helps turn students’ business ideas into reality.

She has keen interest in research and believes that innovation is the first step towards building big businesses. She has also filed two Indian patents; automatically adjustable laptop stand and laptop with inbuilt thermal printer. She is currently working on a research project “Study the Effects of Parallel Hashing Algorithms and the Use of Digital Footprints for Security and Fast Digital Forensic Investigations” sponsored by DST. She has 7+ years of teaching experience and is an active member of various professional societies.

  • Conducted 6 week Hands on Training Course on “Core JAVA” for B.E. CSE students, June 2014 at Chitkara University, H.P. Course was attended by 45 students.
  • Conducted Workshop on “Cyber Security”, December 2013. The workshop was specially conducted for the personnel of Department of Police. Total 40 participants from Police Department attended the workshop.
  • Conducted 6 week Hands on Training Course on “Parallel Computing using CUDA” for B.E. CSE students, June 2013 at Chitkara University, H.P. Course was attended by 25 students.
