Dr Mohit Kapoor is PhD in Medicinal and Sustainable Organic Chemistry with 6 years of experience in Research, Development, Training, and Academics. His areas of expertise are Medicinal chemistry, Bio-organic Chemistry, Catalysis, Organometallic chemistry, Nanomaterial, and Sustainable Organic Chemistry.

He has spent quality of his time doing research in Taiwan and the USA. After PhD and brief Postdoc under the guidance of Prof. Reuben Jih-Ru Hwu at National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan he moved to The University of Toledo, Ohio, USA as a Postdoctoral Research Scholar with Prof. Michael Young.

He has published many high-tier and internationally reputed journals in the field of catalysis, medicinal chemistry, and nanotechnology. Now, he is establishing his state-of-art research lab at CURIN, Chitkara. He has several international collaborations in Taiwan, and the USA. When not in the lab, Mohit enjoys riding and taking hikes with his wife. His area of interests includes:

1. Investigation of Endogenous Gaseous Transmitters Role in Cancer Chemotherapy.
2. Development of New Carbon Based Diagnostic Tools for MRI.
3. Designing Novel Methodologies for the Late-Stage Functionalization of Complex Molecules.
