The present disclosure relates to a wearable apparatus (100) for monitoring weightof objects, the apparatus includes: a frame (102) adapted to be worn on a handpart of a user, a sensor (104) configured on the frame of the apparatus, the sensoradapted to detect a set of attributes of the objects grasped by the user. Amicrocontroller (106) configured to receive, from the sensor, the set of attributes10 of the objects, the set of attributes pertaining to the weight attributes of theobjects, and analyse, the received set of attributes, to extract a set of values fromthe set of attributes. The microcontroller is configured to display the set of valuesin a display device (108) to determine the weight of the object grasped by theuser.
