Release of Neural Amplifier-IC enabling the brain stroke sensing easier

Integrated Circuit Design and Fabrication in India

Chitkara University sensed the need of ICs application in medical field and fabricated the Neural Amplifier IC. The Neural Amplifier Integrated Circuit (IC) designed by Dr. Kulbhsuhan Sharma from Chitkara University Research and Innovation Network (CURIN) is released at Chitkara University campus on 28th November 2020. Dr. Kulbhushan Sharma designed the IC under the supervision of Dr. Rajnish Sharma as a part of his doctor thesis. Dr. Rajnish Sharma is known for his widespread knowledge and publications in the field of IC design and fabrication. The Neural Amplifier IC is launched in presence of Dr. Madhu Chitkara (Pro Chancellor, Chitkara University), Dr. Archana Mantri (Vice Chancellor, Chitkara University) and Sh. H.S. Jatana (Group Head – Design and Process group, Semi-conductor Laboratory (SCL), India). The Neural Amplifier is fabricated in support with Semi-conductor laboratory by ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization). The designed Neural Amplifier IC senses the weakest signal which at earliest indicates the risk of neural diseases such as brain stroke. It also has got applications in Alzheimer, Schizophrenia and other neural diseases.
