Immersive and Interactive Technology (IITL) works in the field of Educational Research,Training and Industrial Management. Researchers also get an insight into the world of game development. IITL focuses on pedagogical improvements in K12 and Engineering Education. IITL is working on the training of the military for secluded areas and wars by providing Virtual and Augmented Reality based environments to cadets. A virtual simulation of driving has also been done in order to provide test drives to car drivers. IITL is working on training midwives for delivery of a newborn. Mathematical simulations are also done by combining Artificial Intelligence and Augmented Reality altogether. Researchers are doing hands-on on Gaming Engines (Unity 3d, Unreal), Modeling softwares (Maya, 3d Max, Blender, Photoshop), SDK’s (Vuforia, EasyAR), Headsets (Google Cardboard and HTC Vive), Gesture Recognition Devices (Leap Motion Controller and Kinnect) to develop AR/VR application development.
